Hub Generator installation before the ridding test

This is a 36V/280W electric bicycle with a 14Ah lead acid battery. We installed the Hub Generator in the front wheel and the electric motor in the rear wheel. The patent controller (charger) was installed on the rear rack behind the seat. We installed 2 sets of voltage meters and ampere meters on the handle bar, one set for checking the Hub Generator output (generated electricity) and one set for checking electric motor input (consumption) during the ridding test. We also installed a GPS speedometer for checking the ridding speed during the test. Now, we just need to make a video for the complete ridding test to show the people the testing result.

Simple, but new invention Hub Generator recharges your electric bicycle for longer range and extends the battery cycle life. The speed of 20 km/h on a 24″ electric bicycle, this Hub Generator produces 41V/7.8A output. A regular 36V/280W 24″ electric bicycle needs 8A for the speed of 25 km/h. A New Invention Patented Hub Generator for Electric Bikes

A new invention patented Hub Generator for electric bikes:
 This is a hub generator to generate the electric power to assist the electric bikes riding more mileages.
 The gear ratio is 1:40, which means that the hub is turned one revolution and the hub generator axle is turned 40 revolutions.
 When the pedal sprocket is 46T and the rear free wheel is 18T, the transmission ratio is 2.55 times. Therefore, one pedal makes the rear wheel turned 2.55 revolutions and the hub generator axle turned 102 revolutions.
 This hub generator could generate 140W electric power by 1,500 rpm. This means that pedal 14.7 times per minute which the hub generator generates 140W electric power to the battery or motor of the electric bikes. This hub generator generates more electric power by more pedals.
 The ridding mileage of the current 250W – 350W electric bikes is about 20 – 30 km per recharge. This generator assists the current electric bikes to extend more than 3 times ridding mileage. Rider doesn’t need to recharge when the battery is out of electric power, the battery will be recharged by ridding.
 This hub generator can be installed on the front wheel, when electric motor is installed on the rear wheel. The size of this hub generator is similar than the current electric hub motor.
